Voxly
A Hebrew voice keyboard that finally hears Hebrew the way Hebrew speakers actually use it.
Future home: voxly.app
Every other Hebrew keyboard is a Whisper wrapper.
They run a generic English-trained model on Hebrew audio and call it a day. The result: punctuation lands wherever an English LSTM thinks it should, slang gets butchered into formal nonsense, code-switching to English mid-sentence breaks transcription, and 'תאחר לאמא שלי 5 דקות' becomes 'תהאחר לאם א שלי 5 דק ות'. Hebrew deserves better than this.
Voxly was rebuilt from the ground up.
Hebrew-tuned acoustic post-processing trained on real Hebrew speech — voice messages, podcasts, voice notes — not academic recordings. Context-aware corrections that know when 'מצב צבירה' is physics class versus WhatsApp slang. Punctuation that lands where Hebrew speakers actually pause, not where a Latin-trained model guesses.
RTL is a first-class citizen — every layer of the rendering pipeline knows directionality. Code-switching to English in the middle of a Hebrew message just works. Slang from Tel Aviv, Bnei Brak, and Petah Tikva is recognized as slang and handled correctly.
RTL-first rendering
Every component, every cursor position, every mixed-direction segment — directionality is treated as a primary concern, not retrofitted.
Hebrew-native acoustic model
Trained on real Hebrew speech across dialects, ages, and contexts — not Latin audio with translation slapped on top.
Smart punctuation
Detects natural Hebrew pauses, sentence boundaries, and rhetorical structures. No more stray commas in the middle of a phrase.
Code-switch aware
When you say 'תזמין לי Uber לשעה 8', Voxly transcribes 'Uber' in English and the rest in Hebrew, with correct directionality on both.
On-device when possible
Short utterances run on-device for sub-second latency and full privacy. Long-form recordings use the cloud — your data stays encrypted in transit and at rest.
Built for daily use
Voice messages, content creation, drafting long emails, capturing notes while driving — Voxly handles the volume Hebrew speakers actually generate.
